Floor joists embedded into the 3 sill logs:

Board siding on north wall and gable:

Inside on 2nd floor, with pre-fabricated chimney:

Window frames for the $2/sqft double-glased window glass pieces I got:

1x4" boards cover the floor joists by now:

16 sheets of steel roof must go on. That is where the accu drill/screwdriver comes in very handy:

Steel roof is done on the "easy" side, and west and south sides are boarded up:

Steel roof on the chimney side had to be cut with tin snips, and tar caulking was making the day rather less "organic":

East side is still open, but it's already nice and dry in there.

Cabin is almost done. Note the wonderful red maple tree that will shade the cabin on hot summer days:
