Quickly built tool shelter: The 3 sill logs on stone foundation: Foundation and first 5 logs snowed in: Posts with temporary braces: 10 inch spikes hold everything together, and chisel, mallet and drawknife were used extensively for the joints: Putting diagonals into your design is a must for stability: Posts as vertical as can be, but all a different length: Andy helps with peeling the logs: After climbing up there and sawing off all posts to a level height purchased lumber eases the way: Oops, two are still left too high.
